Description
In this 7 hour course you will learn the age appropriate methods and procedures to perform rescue breathing and CPR for infants, toddlers and small children. You will also learn how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). An AED analyzes a person’s heart rhythm and prompts a lay rescuer to deliver an electrical shock to restore a normal heartbeat. Today’s units are designed to be fool proof, and will not shock a person unless a shockable heartbeat is present. The units are becoming more and more common in malls, airports, hotels, churches, and any common gathering area. Finally you will learn the skills necessary to provide somebody with basic first aid care for injuries and sudden illnesses until professional rescuers arrive.We recommend this lifesaving course for anyone who works with children or has children.

Certification
Infant/Child CPR/AED Valid for 1 year First Aid, valid for 3 years. NEW: Successful completion of this course qualifies you for .8 CEU from IACET!!
